Gemma Dee

Gemma helps clients navigate the legal and emotional complexities of separation, divorce, and parenting arrangements with compassion and clarity. Her practice includes a wide range of family law matters, including property division, parenting plans, spousal and child support.

With every client, Gemma focuses on de-escalation and long-term outcomes. Whether advocating for clients in negotiations or preparing for mediation, she works to resolve disputes in a way that prioritizes both legal outcomes and emotional well-being. With a background in psychology and law, Gemma helps clients stay focused on what matters most, especially when children are involved, and ensures they feel heard and supported throughout the process.

Gemma also regularly assists clients with real estate transactions that intersect with family law matters—such as the sale or transfer of the family home—and brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to every file.

Prior to practicing in Canada, Gemma worked as a lawyer in the Philippines, where she handled a broad range of legal matters, including family and employment law. She later served as in-house counsel and head of HR for a large corporation, where she gained valuable experience managing people and navigating sensitive workplace and personal dynamics. That focus on human connection, combined with her education in psychology, is what continues to guide her approach to family law.
